So Let It Be Written….my chemo is complete!

pause, for the drum roll and the trumpet blast…

my fifth and final chemo treatment was completed today.  thanks so much to my great vets Dr. Moser, Dr. Ward, Dr. Newman and Dr. Cook!! also many thanks to the wonderful vet techs including Toni, Sarah, and my especially favorite Glenda!!!

i plan to take a month off to enjoy my summer, trying to fit in all previously neglected naps.  in about four weeks, i’ll go back for some chest films, etc.  until then, it’s party time in knoxville!!!!!!!

gayle developed a small lump in her right front wrist. biopsy determined it was a soft tissue sarcoma, with amputation feb 17, 2010. she's recovering nicely, taking naps when needed, and enjoying every moment of every wonderful day. in december 2010 we discovered oral melanoma cancer. gayle had two surgeries to remove tumors, but the ugly disease took her from us december 12, 2011. love never ends.

  4. YAY, Gayle! Congrats on finishing your last chemo! That is totally pawsome, and so very deserving of a nice, long nap. And maybe some ice cream, too. 🙂 I think we’ll all have some ice cream and then take a nap in your honor here!

  6. Way to go Gayle!! Trumpets blaring and drums are a rockin’ in IL to help you celebrate. Well all of that loud music made me tired – so off to take a nap, also in your honor 🙂
